A sculptural U-shaped terrazzo resin candle holder designed to hold a single dinner candle with architectural presence. The open U-form elevates the candle above the surface, casting light and shadow in equal measure — as much a design object as a functional piece.

Handcrafted from a durable gypsum and acrylic resin blend at the Alkaline studio in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal, the terrazzo finish adds rich texture and depth to every piece. A cork base protects your surfaces and keeps the holder firmly in place. Made by hand, so small surface variations are a natural part of each piece.

Available in Neutral, Emerald, Black, Funky, Nude, and Confetti.

This product has been carefully crafted by hand so small irregularities in the material's surface may appear. Whilst every care is taken to replicate the colour and tone in the photographs, small differentiations may occur.

Care Instructions:

Material is heat-resistant, not flame-resistant, and may scorch if a candle burns below the rim
Suggested extinguishing and removing the candle 1cm before reaching the rim to prevent scorch marks
Clean with a soft cloth or sponge using warm water and soap, avoid scourer or hard brush to prevent surface damage
Not dishwasher or microwave-safe
Promptly clean spills or stains to maintain surface quality
