The Form Gathered takes its name from the act of folding — the gathering of pleats in cloth, the gathering of petals around a stem. The shade fans outward from a central point in deep, radiating flutes that cast their own shadow play depending on the angle of light. Viewed from above, it reads as a bloom. Hung and lit, it settles into something softer — closer to folded cloth than open flower. The form sits between the botanical and the architectural, between the handmade and the structural.
